After handling the art direction and design for many PLM projects through the years, I worked with them once again to brainstorm and conceptualize their Annual Report, celebrating the company's 125th Anniversary. The direction was focused on historical photography and documents from years past. Utilizing a wood grain textured stock for the cover, along with a copper/bronze foil stamp—the result is a 44 page Annual Report with a clean aesthetic, elegant serif typography, color palette consisting of subdued earth tones, and juxtaposed historical and modern imagery. This design won a Graphic Arts Association 2020 Neographics Franklin Award of Excellence^®.
